Whether you would like to play camogie with Westport or if you would like to get involved in a vounteering role, read on to find out more!

We have our annual registration evenings in early spring of each year where players can be registered for the year. Dates will be posted on all our social media accounts and here on the website well in advance.

In 2024 players born in the years listed will be eligible for the following age grades:

Under 8’s – girls born in 2016 & 2017

Under 10’s – girls born in 2015 & 2014

Under 12’s – girls born in 2013 & 2012

Under 14’s – girls born in 2011 & 2010

Under 16’s – girls born in 2009 & 2008

Under 18’s – girls born in 2007 & 2006

Junior – adult player.

There are lots of ways to get involved with Westport Camogie Club. You might have a daughter that is keen to play and you would like to enjoy the journey with her. You might have played a little camogie in school or college and while you might not want to play anymore you would still like to be involved.

Whatever your reasons, we would be delighted to have you come and join us.

Some of the roles you could take on are Coaching, Mentoring, Team Assistant, Match Photographer – there are so many! No previous playing or coaching experience is required, just a willingness to help out and learn.

We do have to adhere to strict child protection guidelines, which means we do need quite a few adults per age group!
